The village of Ndolera is located in the Subdivision of Itara-Luvungi. Territory of
Uvira, Province of South Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Located in the middle Bafuliru Mountains, this village has remained without a modern
market for several years, i.e., the population had built traditional sheds that they used
to avoid the rain and sun. But these sheds were no longer adequate, the sellers
suffered a lot to keep the goods during the rainy season and it was the same during
the dry season when vegetables and other goods were damaged by the sun.
After several years of suffering, the Director of Mission in Health Care and
Development MHCD and National MP of Uvira Territory, listened to the cry of distress
of this population by building a modern shed; in the person of Doctor Luc
MULIMBALIMBA MASURURU, Even if he is far from Uvira, Luc MULIMBALIMBA
and his organization MHCD work day and night for the integral community
development projects and the reduction of poverty in the Territory of Uvira in
Democratic Republic of Congo, that's why he continues to realize projects of visible
impact in the different villages of the country.
From now on, the population of Ndolera will no longer use their traditional sheds,
because the solution has been found by the Ndolera community together with Luc
and Delice MULIMBALIMBA who has built a modern shed for the whole market. We
also thank Nathan Dietsch and Macquarie Foundation who supported them with
roofing.
The population showed its immense joy to have seen this realization of a modern
market built in the standard for their village. They sang, danced, praised the Eternal
God and thanked Luc and Delice MULIMBALIMBA together with entire MHCD D.R.
Congo and Australia for having endowed this village with a market which will remain
their jewel for their entity during several years. Luc MULIMBALIMBA thanked the
Ndolera community for accepting to contribute so that MHCD can build the modern
market in their village. It was not easy to build the market because we have been
transporting all materials from Luvungi by use of bicycles, motorcycles and sometime
people transported materials. We also thank all people from Luvungi who contributed
to transport the construction materials so that Ndolera village can have their own
community market.
The community market is the second project that MHCD have completed in Ndolera
Village after building a Medical Centre. The Ndolera community are very happy to
see all the community development projects that Dr Luc MULIMBALIMBA and MHCD
are bringing in their village and they are really thankful to God for bringing MHCD in
their village.
