The progress of the project for the assembly and installation of the MHCD Luvungi Solar Farm in Luvungi Village, Uvira Territory, South-Kivu Province in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is progressing very well.
The work was launched on Saturday, 29/01/2022 by Dr Luc MULIMBALIMBA MASURURU, MP of Uvira Territory and President of the organisation MHCD (Mission in Health Care and Development) Democratic Republic of Congo.
A few days after the launch, engineers from Kinshasa, Bukavu and Luvungi are working day and night to make this Solar Farm operational in a short time.
The equipment and materials for the MHCD Solar Farm came from Australia.
The MHCD Luvungi Solar Farm was initiated by Dr. Luc Mulimbalimba Masururu and his organization MHCD (Mission in Health Care and Development).
It will be the first Solar Farm in South Kivu Province and will supply 2000 households with electricity.
The population of the Territory of Uvira in general, particularly those in Luvungi are very proud to have Dr Luc Mulimbalimba as their Leader and MP.
This population has testified that Luc Mulimbalimba is carrying out large scale development actions that no one else has ever done in Uvira Territory, that is why they are supporting MHCD activities in Uvira DRC.
